Our 2nd Annual Parcel Post Party is being coupled with an Italian Dinner. The proceeds of the dinner and auction will go toward the 2010 Youth Work Mission Trip scheduled for next summer.
This fund raiser is one in which boxes are auctioned off to the highest bidder with only the return address as the known agent. This is a family event with packages for everyone including some for children.
We have scheduled this event for Saturday evening, January 30th at 5:00 pm. Tickets for dinner are $10. Audrey Johnson and Pastor Laura are working together again to make this happen.
So far, 11 packages from Arizona, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, North Dakota, Oregon, Minnesota, and Alaska have arrived. Fun is the word that comes to mind as the parcels roll in. When you travel Outside, send back some packages. If you have friends and family Outside, invite them to participate by sending up packages from their states. Keep them coming! We'll plan on having a great time come January!!! |
